What type of dance is this.......?

This is "competition style contemporary dance" and not real contemporary dance as in "concert contemporary dance." Lyrical dance is also only found in competition or recital schools. Lyrical is more balletic when compared to competition contemporary. It is also based on the lyrics of a song, that is why it is called lyrical dance. It also tends to be overly emotional.
