Which horror movie is better The Exorcist vs The Ring?

The Exorcist is by far the winner here. For one thing, it's based on a true story. Secondly, it's helped pave the way for other movies of the genre. The Ring, although a good movie, is trying to freak you out while The Exorcist is intended to scare the daylights out of you.
